Wholly owned subsidiary will enable AerNos to better serve the growing demand for AerNos Nano Gas Sensor technologies in Japan and Asia.

San Diego, California — (January 31, 2018) – AerNos, an innovator in nano gas sensors, announced today that it is expanding its international presence by establishing AerNos Japan GK, a wholly owned subsidiary of AerNos, Inc., and appointing former semiconductor veteran Mr. Seiji Miwa as President. The move will accelerate expansion into Japanese and Asian markets for AerNos nano gas sensor products including AerHome and AerCity, the company’s Smart Home and Smart City Internet of Things (IoT) products, and AerBand Research, a wearable air pollution monitoring device recently featured on ABC News’ Good Morning America.

With over 40 years of experience in the electronics industry, Mr. Miwa brings extensive executive experience and strong relationships with leaders and management of many of Japan’s major semiconductor and technology companies. Prior to joining AerNos Miwa served as Baysand Japan President and CEO, President of eASIC’s Japan office, President of AmmoCore-Japan, chairman and President of Magma Design Automation, K.K. Japan and President and then Chairman at Cadence Design Systems, K.K. Japan.
