Air Pollution and Harmful Gas Monitoring Product Selected in Tech For A Better World Category
San Diego, California — (November 14, 2018) – AerNos, Inc. today announced that it has been named a CES® 2019 Innovation Awards Honoree for AerIoT™, its new air quality monitoring module developed for integration into smart IoT connected products. An annual program that celebrates outstanding design, the CES Innovation Awards recognizes honorees across 28 product categories. A panel of judges, including designers, engineers and members of the tech media, reviews submissions based on design, functionality, consumer appeal, engineering and how the products compare with competition. CES 2019 takes place January 8-11 in Las Vegas.
AerIoT is a nano gas sensor module that detects multiple gases simultaneously to parts per billion (PPB) levels for air quality monitoring and other e-nose applications. AerIoT integrates into 3rd party IoT connected devices such as air purification units, digital assistants, automobiles and smart street lights, providing actionable data to improve human health and safety. Small, low power and affordable, AerIoT addresses crucial gaps in the market and is positioned to accelerate the integration of air quality monitoring and hazardous gas detection sensors into millions and ultimately billions of devices.
“Being selected as a CES 2019 Innovation Award Honoree, particularly in the category Tech for a Better World, is exciting and completely aligned with our company mission,” said AerNos Founder and CEO Sundip R. Doshi. “Leveraging hyper-local, granular and actionable data from dense networks of sensors, AerIoT is poised to help society address two of the biggest threats to human health and safety – air pollution and climate change.”
The CES Innovation Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™, owner and producer of CES, the world’s largest and most influential technology event. CTA has been recognizing achievements in product design and engineering since 1976.
AerNos’s AerIoT will be on display in the Innovation Awards Showcase at CES 2019 as well as in the AerNos booth 42349 in the Sands Expo. To learn about AerNos at CES or to schedule a meeting during CES 2019 visit AerNos at CES.
